Minutes - Annual Meeting

August 21, 2004, Ottawa, Canada

 

1.         The meeting was called to order by Jody Blanke, Chair.

 

2.         The minutes from the 2003 Technology Section meeting were approved.

 

3.        There was a discussion about the fact that Chris Hoofnagle, once again, did an excellent job as guest speaker at the Section breakfast.

 

4.        The following officers were elected for 2004-2005:

 

    Chair: Kurt Saunders

    Vice Chair: Dan Cahoy

    Secretary-Treasurer: Jody Blanke (unless someone else volunteers)

    Webmaster: Jody Blanke

    Technology Report Editor: David Baumer

 

5.        Fran Zollers informed the Section that technology was the theme for next year's meeting in San Francisco.  She asked if the Section could present  some sessions on the first day of the conference.

 

6.        David Baumer discussed his plans for The Technology Report.

 

7.        The Section still maintains the Cyberlawtalk listserv. 

 

8.        The section maintains a Website, located at http://techsection.alsb.mercer.edu.

 

9.        The meeting was adjourned.
